Man it felt good. I played basketball last night for the first time in 20 years. I am not kidding you here, this is true, I used to play as a kid in a regional league, we used to host games and go to next door neighbor Kibbutzes to play games and I loved it. There was all that excitement in playing an official game that if you win will give your team 2 points on the league table.
So I played basketball last night for the first time in 20 years and I loved it again. Obviously I was out of touch but I loved it none the less. I was running up and down the basketball court and my heart was pumping about 5 seconds after I started my sprints. I was sweating a storm and trying to control the ball when it was in my hands and I just had lots of fun. The thing is that I am still feeling pain on the fractures I sustained after a car accident I had 9 years ago.

This was a terrible accident I had because basketball legends when coming to New Zealand from Israel I was not used to driving on the left side of the road. So here I was – about a month after coming to the country I was on the road with a car I bought just two days earlier and I was driving it on the left lane but then I cut a curve on the road and for some reason never came back to the left. I woke up in hospital with 14 fracture all over my body – 7 of them are in my right leg alone.
Today I can still feel pain from some of my fractures in my right leg but it does not stop me from being active. Last night when playing basketball I felt my knees aching and my legs but I still gave 100% and as a result I burnt tons of fat and calorie in that game. Today I actually feel better than yesterday, I feel stronger and healthier. I do not know how to explain that but I really think that the hour I run on the basketball court last night at intervals of super fast and slow intervals did good to me and help elicit a great response to exercise.
